Transforming VET

for disadvantaged youth empowerment and employment

VET4YE improves the quality and attractiveness of VET across Europe and boosts employability for disadvantaged young people through an EQAVET-aligned quality framework, micro-credentials and digital badges, plus a Virtual Learning Space with immersive VR practice.

Empowering Youth. Modernising VET.

VET4YE is a European cooperation project designed to reduce youth unemployment and skills mismatch for disadvantaged young people aged 18–25, including migrants, refugees, Roma youth and NEETs. We do this by upgrading VET quality assurance, delivering short competency-based training in high-demand trades, and supporting flexible recognition of skills through micro-credentials and digital badges.

About Us

High-quality, inclusive and job-relevant VET that is attractive to young people and responsive to labour market needs across Europe.

To improve VET quality assurance and delivery through an EQAVET-aligned framework, modern learning methods including VR, and portable skill recognition via micro-credentials and digital badges that support employability for disadvantaged youth.

A VET ecosystem where quality training, modern learning tools and fair recognition of skills open real employment pathways for disadvantaged youth.

Our Vision

Our Mission

Our Goals

Improve the quality of VET curricula across Europe, making them more attractive to young people.

Increase employability of disadvantaged youth (18–25, including migrants, refugees, Roma, and NEETs) through training in high-demand trades.

Train at least 80 VET teachers to integrate VR and modern digital methods into teaching.

Establish a certification system using micro-credentials and digital badges for clear, portable recognition of skills.

Deliver intensive training and certify successful participants, supporting pathways into employment and work-based learning.

Virtual Learning Space

A central hub that provides free access to vocational learning content, supports blended learning, and enables scalable roll-out across partner countries.

A pilot phase certifies successful learners with micro-credentials and digital badges and includes work-based learning exposure through a study visit.

Our Activities

Immersive VR Practical Training

A set of practical VR exercises that simulate real tasks and help learners practice safely and effectively, while also supporting teachers in delivering modern, engaging training.
